What is LaundryJet?

Laundry Jet is the first vacuum powered laundry chute that transports laundry from any room with ports installed, to the laundry room. Unlike a traditional laundry chute, the Laundry Jet can be used regardless of if a home is multi-level or single story because it is not reliant solely on gravity. It can be installed seamlessly into any custom laundry room design and existing laundry rooms. This is a must-have laundry item for any family or individual looking for a convenient and safe way to transport clothes to the laundry room from any room in the house

How does it work?

To use the Laundry Jet system, simply open the nearest port to activate the system. Using the open port, feed dirty laundry, bed sheets, and even damp towels into the open port to be transported into the laundry room. The system is activated when the port is opened and deactivated when the port is closed, thus conserving power and energy. The noise produced by the system at the ports is barely louder than a whisper so as not to disrupt the everyday activities in the living areas of the home. Ports can be installed at varying heights to make it more user friendly for the needs of the home (e.g. lower for those that may need easier accessibility or higher to prevent children from sticking laundry inside). You can add the Laundry Jet Return Unit to your system to return clean and dry clothes to a room of your choice.

LaundyJet Plus & Plus Max.

The Laundry Jet Plus and high powered Plus Max integrate seamlessly into any custom laundry room design and is our top of the range model in terms of custom style, capacity and number of ports. The Plus and Plus Max  install inside your own custom cabinetry to maintain the overall aesthetic in your laundry room while adding the maximum benefit the Laundry Jet technology.

The Laundry Jet is offered in five different models: The Express, the Swift, the Swift Max, The Plus and The Plus Max.

ISENSE PORT

The Laundry Jet iSense Port is our latest automatic port design. It is a fully automatic port using sensing technology for easy hands free use. It provides the simplest, easy to use, auto open, auto close functionality. Constructed of durable gloss plastic the iSense Port is simply mounted by screws to the wall, with the pipe connecting to a simple collar at the rear.

It is opened by just quickly waving your hand three times past the motion sensor (eye), thus activating the Laundry Jet System. The sensor is set to close proximity so it won’t be started accidentally. 

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Retrofitting the laundry jet into an existing home is a straightforward process. All transport lines are run through the open attic and then drop into existing closet space or into suitable existing sub walls. See installation instructions for more information.

  • Laundry Jet ports can be installed at any height to restrict access from very small children that might misuse the ports and we recommend 48“. In addition, the system is designed so that in the case that a toy or other item is stuck into the port it must always pass through a hard 90 degree turn to enter the system. Dense items do not have enough surface area to pass through the system and will simply remain at the entrance to the port. All other items that pass through the initial port and will simply move through the system and will be delivered to the laundry room. As with any appliance, you must always follow proper instructions and procedures when operating the Laundry Jet.

  • The Swift Laundry Jet unit has the option of up to 4 ports. The Laundry Jet Plus can handle up to 8 ports.

  • The Laundry Jet wall mounted unit will make some wind noise when in use, (approx. 77 dBs) similar to a vacuum cleaner, but you can vent the diffuser on the side of the unit outside or back up to the attic to reduce noise if needs be. The standard jet pack has an air diffuser to reduce wind and noise. The Laundry Jet ports do not make any significant noise in the bedrooms, more a gentle whisper.
